Minto Public School

Minto Public School holds Kindergarten thru 12th grade. The class sizes are smaller to allow each student to receive one on one contact with our caring teachers. These wonderful teachers are willing to go the extra mile. They will meet with parents and encourage parent participation in our childrens education. As our second grade teacher stresses: Parent + Education = Success!!!!
The school is a great help to modern working families. The afterschool program, ESP,
allow children a place to complete homework and play with fellow students in a supervised
area. This program runs both before school and after.
There are many sports activities as well.
This year we have co-oped with Midway to form the Midway-Minto Mustangs in basketball! They play home games both here in our gym as well as in Midway school. This lets our community grow and allows the children greater opportunities. Keep up with the boys at Midway/Minto Boys Basketball. The girls came be found at Midway/Minto Girls Basketball. Both sites post rosters and score updates.
We play 11-man football. Our team is growing and getting experience. We cannot wait to see what the boys will do in the years to come! The head Coach is Dennis Horner and Asst. Coaches are Randy Rice and Shane Robinson. Your can keep up with this team's progress at Midway/Minto Football.
Our Minto Volleyball team is strong and getting stronger. The girls are coached by Mr. Barta and Mrs. Robinson. We have Varsity, Junior Varsity and Junior High Teams. To keep up with the girls go to Minto Volleyball .
Shane Robinson coaches the Minto Baseball Team. We look forward to seeing them out there. To keep an eye on these boys check out Minto Baseball Team. We also have track and golf teams to watch for.
For the younger students, you have many activities as well. Wrestling is held with the Grafton school. There is basketball at the school and also with the Grafton Rec. Center. The school is very good at keeping parents posted so that kids are kept in the activities they want to be in.
With our location being so close to larger communities parents get the best of the best for their children. They receive top notch education and the benefit of close contact with teachers. A wonderful extended staff helps to: we have a speach teacher, wonderful music teachers, piano and guitar lessons, a councelor, and many others. You also get the benefit of being close enough to add to your childs activities. Grafton is only 10 miles and will add hockey, Tae Kwon do, and many, many other activities to keep our small town children in a safe small community, but give them many of the option they would get in a larger city.
