THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who made our Quasquicentennial Celebration a HUGE success!! We couldn't have done it without you!

Celebration volunteers are invited to a THANK YOU supper on Wednesday, September 17, @ 6:00 PM @ the Community Center.

The City of Minto is located 30 miles north of Grand Forks and 10 miles south of Grafton. With its warm and caring atmosphere, it is an ideal location to raise a family. You will find a host of activities including Polish Dancing, Snowmobiling Clubs, and an active high school sports program, but our greatest asset is all of the wonderful people that create our community.

The population of Minto is approximately 657. The approximate number of families is 255.

The people of Minto enjoy a beautiful city park. It is nicely maintained and includes picnic areas, volleyball, tennis, baseball, a walking path, and more. Our park is a relaxing area that brings families together with a bit of fun for everyone. In the summer you will find children playing baseball, enjoying the playground, and walking or biking on the path.

In the winter, Minto still has many activities. There is an area snowmobiling club; you will find an antique snowmobile ride, an USSC-sponsored snowcat race, and wonderful paths for everyone to enjoy. There is an outdoor ice rink for everyone to enjoy. It isn't uncommon to see the kids playing hockey on a nice winter day.

There are also many areas to enjoy fishing and hunting around Minto.
